Philharmonic finds rising star in charming 18-year-old Brit

The Las Vegas Philharmonic gave a gift from the heart Saturday night with its Rising Star Concert, featuring four vivid and romantic selections, all conducted by British composer and conductor Alex Prior.

The 9,000 supporters of FAYM on Facebook were good citizens and helped vote the El Paso Symphony Youth Orchestra (EPSYO) to victory in an online contest sponsored by the Clorox company. The prize? $10,000!!
