Welcome to FAYM! The Foundation to Assist Young Musicians
On December 20, 2007, the Foundation to Assist Young Musicians (FAYM) was born. Established by Harold Weller, the Founding Music Director and Conductor Laureate of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, FAYM has succeeded in pursuing its mission of encouraging and supporting gifted young musicians in early training, advanced study, and professional career development, specifically those who are in need of financial and/or mentoring support up to the age of 26. In addition, our mission has expanded in scope to include innovative new programs for children from needy families to receive music education.
Through their generous contributions, many people have joined us in this mission, and through their assistance, we've accomplished a great deal. With our new website, we want to share with you our mission and the activities that have been made possible through FAYM programs.
